Description:

Infuriating butterfly to photograph. Flew low to the ground, stopped only for a second before flying off again, just a meter or 2 at a time. Always going from here to there in the same area.

Hahah, Adrian Hoskins in Butterflies of Africa calls this butterfly, INFURIATING Pathfinder!!

Habitat:

Afrotropical ecozone. This butterfly was seen in low grass and small leafy plants in a wider part of the path, deep in tropical forest in central Uganda..

Notes:

Photo 3 shows the habitat.
This is a rainforest species, and tends to be most abundant along paths and tracks where dappled sunlight filters through the tree foliage to reach the forest floor.

That is so funny Pam...I can relate to that... the worse part is that I have to re-focus and by then they moved... and when and if I get a Picture I go look at them and the only picture I got..... was completely blurrrrrr : (
