Field Notes

Description:

Beautiful yellow and black arrow-shaped abdomen with bright crimson legs. Spinning a beautiful zig-zag design into it's web.

Habitat:

Found next to the base of a bunker on the Dogwood Trail at Enterprise Nature Park.

Notes:

This is the only time I've ever seen one, and it was truly an awe-inspiring moment to photograph one of the most gorgeous arachnids I've ever seen. It has since moved on from this spot.
