What a cute little baby owl. Is the owl still using the same nest this year?
The nest is actually up about 100' and I was on roof of my vehicle using a 200mm lens to get this. I work at this park and the owl is used to seeing me. Only employees are allowed to drive in this area of the park(the park is about 900 acres and 600+ of it are closed to vehicles). I think, would like to believe, that the owl does not see me as a threat. But it does look like I'm getting the stink eye! :~)
I've heard that the parents can get pretty agressive towards people near their nest.... I think it was giving you the eye.
