Description:
Dark brown plumage. Yellowish beak. Aggressive and greedy (may be it has chicks to feed).
Habitat:
Common garden bird...comes happily to feed in back yards. Saw it in an urban backyard where food had been put out for birds.
Notes:
The male is black with a golden eye ring...very striking.
