Field Notes

Description:

This squirrel and it's 2 siblings (2 males and a female altogether) were found starving as babies when it's mother was killed by a car. They were nursed to health and released into the backyard. They remain in that yard and appear to be flourishing.

Habitat:

Tree approximately 20 feet from the house in which they were found in the attic. They attempted to make a winter nest of their own, but had limited success. The person that nursed them built a wooden box for them to use and placed it in the tree in which they reside.
