Description:

Approx. 3 inches in height, cap coloration between fleshy pink and light brown, woody stipe, dry umbunate cap. Almost always found at or near the base of neighboring evergreens.

Habitat:

Under a douglas fir

Notes:

These fungi are very dominant in this area, growing in large widespread patches. Mid fall.
