Description:

Cymothoe herminia, the Herminia Glider, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family.

Habitat:

This species is found mainly in secondary forest and disturbed areas of primary forest. I found it while walking along a path quite far into the forest.

Looking at the markings, specially the brown zig-zagged band on the forewing let me think of Cymothoe herminia rather than Cymothoe caenis, which would not have such a brown band: http://www.panoramio.com/m/photo/97345890 Please, verify and confirmation by others would be welcome...
