Field Notes

Description:

Grass green coloured bird missing the distinctive crimson coloured forehead and bib on breast. Looks vulnerable, like all baby birds.

Habitat:

Spotted on a Casuarina tree.

Notes:

There were two juveniles, another one (maybe the adult) flew away. But the two sat there for a long time. This one was sitting facing me on a lower branch but I still needed 50 X zoom to catch it. The other one sat with its back to me...hence no celebrity status or Internet avatar.
