Description:
Leafrollers, the larvae of certain tortricid moths, often feed and pupate within the protection of rolled-up leaves. Several species can cause problems on fruit and ornamental trees in California. Not a problem necessarily in my garden, as it does minor destruction, and there are beauty's after all. Was resting on some wood, and made it's way to my hand.

Notes:
In the family of tortricid moths. The length of the forewings is 6-10.2 mm for males and 8.5-11.7 mm for females.
