Field Notes

Description:

The flower stalks were towering over us. Quite an impressive plant with several branches heavy with cascading green flowers hanging off each flower stalk. The leaves are also very large and recognizable. Fruits shown in photo 3

Habitat:

Densely vegetated mountain trail. Very moist area abundant with ferns and mosses.
