Field Notes

Description:

Brown with crossed black stripes and lighter blotches on its back. Quite long, about 50cm in length. Not at all afraid of humans.

Habitat:

In the banana tree, in the garden of our holiday cottage, Upper Hells Gate, Saba, Dutch Antilles.

Notes:

Endangered. Regional endemic. Widespread and abundant on Saba.
