Description:

Dark brown and red Click Beetle covered in small yellow hairs, 1 cm long.
The last picture was taken just before it "clicked" itself into the air about 2 cm!

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters. Family Elateridae.
