Habitat:

swamps and marshes of the Americas with Florida at the northern limits of its breeding range.

Notes:

First spotting of this bird for me. I could hear many of them in this area (no wonder they are called the crying bird) but finally saw this one by the road on the way out. It was great to get a few nice shots of a new species.
