Field Notes

Description:

Found this aggressive little spider by chance. I was photographing a caterpillar on the plant when this spider suddenly rushed towards me from no where, with its front limbs extended.

I was surprised by its aggressiveness, It would keep intimidating me by extending its front limbs and pretending to rush towards me. it would return to its initial place and position soon after.

This happened a couple of times when the spider had enough and stayed put.

In the 3rd image you see how beautifully it mimics a piece of dry leaf. :-)

Size: less than 1cm
