Description:

Asota sp. moth caterpillars. Moth species of the genus seen at this location include: A. caricae http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/17854162 , A. eusemioides http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/22167142 and A. heliconia http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7739045 . Habitat:

Observed in a large semi-urban yard/garden next to a patch of disturbed remnant forest on an unidentified host plant. This is in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
