Congrats on your sotd, Marek. This is wonderful.
Congratulations Marek, your Tiger Tail Seahorse is our Spotting of the Day: "We're staying underwater today with this elegant Tiger Tail Seahorse (Hippocampus comes, family Syngnathidae) as our Spotting of the Day! This species has an upright posture, curved trunk, and a prehensile tail which is usually striped yellow and black, hence the common name. However, the striping is not visible in all individuals and may depend on maturity stage. Also, as masters of camouflage seahorses can change color to blend in with their surroundings. The tiger tail seahorse is one of most commonly traded seahorse species, and is also threatened by habitat loss. Because of this it is classified as Vulnerable on this IUCN Red List and is listed on Appendix II of CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)".
