Description:

Rather large bee, approximately 3/4 inch long. Black wings, posterior and thorax. Three alternating yellow and blackish bands.

Habitat:

Pollinating garden with some high grasses and shrubby bushed

Notes:

Has been posted in "Species of Greatest Conservation Need". This is an endangered species
