Description:

Photos in this post were taken in Aceh Besar, Aceh - Sumatra Indonesia. This beetle is from the Chrysomelidae family under genus of Cassida. The species name is Cassida circumdata.

This leaf beetle has black back ground color of its protonum and elytra with metallic green to golden marks on it. The shell of the pronotum and elytra is transparrent and extended over its body. The size is about 5mm.
