Description:

This organism is a plant that lives primarily in wetlands across the Eastern United States. This plant is also enclosed in a large purple bud before the plant blossoms in the spring. Additionally, this plant is famous for producing an odor that resembles the odor of a skunk. This plant is also famous for having large leaves that can grow to be over a foot long.

Habitat:

The habitat in which this plant lives in is primarily wetlands; namely, areas that have streams or marshes. However, this plant can also live in wet highlands. This plant can be seen in the Eastern Half of the United States from Nova Scotia to Tennessee, and Quebec to North Carolina.
