Description:
The Chinese Goose is a domesticated variety of the Swan Goose. The Chinese Goose has a black bill like it's wild relatives, but it also has a nob on top which the wild goose does not. It also has a more rotund rear than its wild counter part. The back is a dark gray, as is the top part of the neck. The wings are lighter shades of gray as is parts of the breast. The bottom side of the neck is a very light gray that fades to a white. It likes bread, grass, other plant material, and probably the occasional invertebrate.

Ponds near human habitation.
Notes:
This one was surprisingly not as aggressive as a pair I had come across a previous year there (they tried to bite my toes)(lesson learned, don't wear sandals). Seeing as how supposedly the additional weight that domestic geese have causes them not to be able to fly... I wonder where these geese come from. This one would chase ducks and sometimes the wild geese to try to steal the bread, but he wasn't any more aggressive than the Canada geese who would yank feathers out of each others bums over who got to be closer to the source of bread.
