Description:

Silver-spotted Skipper butterfly. There were dozen of them all over the flowering plants.

Habitat:

Flowering plants in tropical forest.

I am no expert with skippers, especially ones of Mexico but I am pretty sure this is not silver-spotted. Silver-spotted would have one silver stripe on the underside of the hindwing rather than the forewing. Perhaps Arizona skipper (Codatractus arizoniensis)?
