Field Notes

Description:

It is my understanding that classifying type of insect accurately is complex since there are over 3,000 known species. The one photographed is not the striped kind that most see online. This little guy measured almost 5 in. body and almost 8 in. fully extended.

Habitat:

Woods

Notes:

After it was captured and photographed, it was released back into the woods.
