Field Notes

Habitat:

Pantropic, native to Florida on beaches and dunes.

Notes:

I took this picture of the beautiful and extensive cover of Railroad Vine or Beach Morning Glory at a Bahia Honda a long time ago (before I was purposely taking nature photos for this site). I need to go out and get some close ups of the flowers to go with this spotting.

Well when out this morning and took those flower pics. I decided to make them a separate spotting since it was a totally different location. Here are the flowers: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/545036007
Yes, thank you, Maria. Perfect excuse to head out to the beach. :)
Nice to find old spottings to share; it would be nice, too, to see the flowers close-up.
