Field Notes

Description:

Tan and black bee with green eyes. The face has a hairless, yellow patch. The antennae have a yellow band on the end of the scape. It was sleeping and I disturbed it when I touched the plant. It turned around and gave me a look (second image).

Habitat:

Shatavari in the backyard
