Description:

Also known as Polyporus dichrous. The scientific name means "2-colored mushroom with beautiful pores. It can spread over a broad area. Leathery white with pinkish spores. Overwinters.

Habitat:

On dead wood, usually deciduous logs. Throughout North America.
