Thiania Jumping Spider(Brooding)

A brooding female from genus Thiania(which also includes the Fighting Spider).Spotted in Khao Sok Rainforest.
Gravid female spiders usually lay eggs 1 day to 2 weeks after mating, though they are able to store fertilization for as long as a year.This genus of jumping spiders was first described by Carl Ludwig Koch in 1846.As of August 2019 it contains twenty-three species, found in Asia from Pakistan to the Philippines, with one species found on Hawaii.
