Kiskadee [Egg]
Pitangus sulphuratus
-21.596, -46.8613
Field Notes
Description:
The "parents" of this egg built their nest in a power transformer. Unfortunately, the transformer blew and the nest fell to the ground. (Fortunately, the "fathers" were unharmed).
One thing I found curious, but I could not photographed, is that the nest had been built upon one other dead Kiskadee.
Habitat:
I found this egg in a rural region, on a transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
