Description:

A large crocodian reptile endemic to the Southeastern United States. Adult males measure 3.4 m (11 feet) to 4.6 m (15 feet) and can weigh up to 453 kg(999 lbs).

Habitat:

These pictures were taken at the St Marks National Wildlife Refuge in St Marks, Florida (near Tallahassee). It was established in 1931 for migratory birds and other species and encompasses 68,000 acres. An amazing must see place for wildlife and beautiful marshes..
