Description:
1.5 to 2 inches high. Extremely bright, waxy hot pink flowers on a ball or barrel cactus.
Habitat:
Grassy, rocky soil in the foothills, east of the Continental Divide and just south of Lyons, Colorado (Hall Ranch).
Notes:
It was so brightly colored I thought at first it was fake!
