Description:
An unidentified (short-horned) grasshopper, sharing a plant with caterpillars (separate spotting) and a hopper (froghopper?).
Habitat:
Spotted on an, as yet, unidentified plant in a large semi-urban yard & garden situated next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest, in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
