Red Eared Slider Turtle

Habitat:

Reflecting Pool in front of the Botanical Building at Balboa Park

Notes:

Prominent red stripe in the "ear" position on it's head. It's possible this was a pet turtle abandoned here, or the descendent of released pet turtles.
