Field Notes

Description:

Some kind of wood pecker. Is this a yellow bellied sap sucker? I don't know my peckers that well as I don't see many. He was outside my window as you can see from the picture.

Habitat:

unknown

Notes:

I had him visiting me for a few weeks and then I ran out of suet.

How strange, for some reason it won't let me use the suggest and ID function... anyway, this is a female red-bellied woodpecker. :) http://www.eol.org/pages/917207
