Description:

My all-time favorite Michigan flower, the trillium. Always a steadfast sign of Spring, these flowers never fail to make me smile. Spotted on a spring paddling trip near the canoe-only campground in Proud Lake Recreation Area outside of Brighton, MI

Habitat:

Dense woodland beside the Huron River
