Description:

It is a New World Monkey from Colombia and Venezuela, member of the genus Aotus. They are monogmous and generally they give birth to a single infant each year.
They Gray-Handed Night Monkey is listed as Vulnerable. The reasons are in part due to habitat loss, but also because they are capture for malaria research.

Habitat:

It is found in several types of forest, including secondary forest and coffee plantations, although one study indicated a preference for highly diverse forest

Notes:

They were photographed at the Barranquilla zoo, but they are actually free.

Haha yes! It is their baby (although it was kinda big to be on his father back!) I uploaded few more pictures so you can see why they are one of my favorite primates. They are so tiny, beautiful brown eyes and so shy and nice. I love them.
