Description:

These little guys live amongst the rocks on the rim of the canyon. <br>
They are members of the Squirrel family sciuridae. <br>
They are also known as Hidden Forest Chipmunk.

Habitat:

Grand Canyon south rim

Notes:

The scientific name has been changed from Tamius umbrinus to Neotamius umbrinus recently.
