Field Notes

Description:

AKA Hummingbird Moth. Did not stop moving once, so I have a lot of blurry photos. These are the best of the lot.

Notes:

We saw this near our milkweed after dark and of course thought it was a hummingbird (the feeders are very close). After identifying it, I understand it isn't at all rare, but it was an amazing sight for someone who has never seen one before!
