Odd, I can't even find a wikipedia entry for it. But I'm pretty positive that's the right ID.
Auntnance123 it does look like wondering cudweed from your weed site, but not from the Wici sites???
You may be correct... I thought it was a young plant before stickers dried out. Sorry if I misled anyone, (Heather)..
I'm not so sure this is a sandspur. With the fuzzy stem and leaves it looks more like some thing like pusley. Sandspurs are grasses, usually tall grasses. Check here to see how it compares: http://okeechobee.ifas.ufl.edu/News%20columns/Sandspur.htm
