Description:

fleshy gilled mushroom with scales on cap, white gills turning greenish on maturity, ring on stem; spore print distinctly greenish

Habitat:

on the ground in grassy areas

Notes:

pan-tropical in distribution - this one is from Papua New Guinea.
can be common in hot summers in eastern N.A.!
Common in south Florida!
POISONOUS.
