Field Notes

Description:

Grizzly bears are large aggressive bears. Color varies from black to blond.

Habitat:

Grizzlies typically live in forested mountain environments, although at one time they were relatively common on the prairies, and can be found on Arctic and subarctic tundra.

Notes:

This bear was staring at a bison bull that was wandering into the meadow. The bull was huffing and acting aggressive and the bear decided that valor didn't include getting speared by a couple of bison horns and he quickly gave ground and wandered out of sight.

Thanks for the back up story! Huffing and acting aggressive seems like a good strategy... guess you have to have big horns though.
