Description:

The Borneo Pygmy elephant has been the subject of much discussion... Some people argued that it was not endemic to Borneo but the original population was a gift from the Sultan of Sulu. Recent evidence, however, suggests otherwise, and they may well have been on Borneo since it separated from the main land. Either way, the elephants were beautiful and kept to themselves.
