Field Notes

Description:

Grey bird with black cap very elusive. I hear them much more than see them, but last winter they were hungry enough in the cold weather I got to photograph him.

Habitat:

They like to hide in deep brush and often make a cat like call. They seem to reside in my garden in the winter keeping to the Ligustrum bushes. Venice, FLorida
