Field Notes

Description:

Moth in the family Geometridae that flies during the day, preferably with bright sunshine. The wings completely black except for the white tips of the forewings. Long antennae with pointed end. Larvae are green with yellow lines and pink blob at the back end.

Habitat:

Spotted at open oak forest. Reserva de la Biosfera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
