Field Notes

Description:

2-3 inch long caterpillar

Habitat:

Suburban backyard

Notes:

If this is the same species as my previous spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/424746162
then it is a caterpillar I have found in my bathroom on two different occasions.. and the bathroom is not even close to any of the house entrances.

:) Unfortunatelly I don't know...not my area, but I saw the same spotted caterpillars here on PN...
I think you're right about the genus. Do you know of any reason why I would keep finding them in my house?
Spodoptera sp.? maybe S. ornithogalli? I'm sure this is some Armyworm caterpillar...
