Description:

Also known as the Little Sulfur butterfly. This is a butterfly species of subfamily Coliadinae that occurs in Central America and the southern part of North America.

Habitat:

Spotted in an overgrown meadow with milkweed and other wildflowers next to a hardwood forest.

Notes:

The adults feed on the nectar of species in the genus Aster.
