Description:

A blue seastar growing up to 30cm in diameter.

Habitat:

Shallow waters in the Indio-pacific. These were photographed at Mackay reef.

Notes:

OK, so they're hardly centered in the photo, but I was bobbing like a cork.

This is a great picture of a lot of different species of coral. In the foreground is a Staghorn coral and in the back is an Acropora. It's hard to tell the exact species from this distance, but definitely worth noting! The sea stars are beautiful!
