Field Notes

Description:

A dark purple flower with broad and deeply palmate divided leaves. The lower leaves are distinctly toothed.

Habitat:

The top crust of the soil was dry but if you dug up some and got to a lower level of crust you would see that the roots like a moist area to grow.

Notes:

This flower is a poison buttercup. It is 27 inches tall and the flower is 1 centimeter wide. When we found the flower we noticed that there was Corn Lily.
