Description:

Oyster looking Fungi growing on the external surface of the bark of a hardwood tree. Hardwood stump that looks like it snapped off during a past hurricane.

Habitat:

The area is quite shaded and near still water swamp. Perfect for fungi to grow.

Notes:

Spotted on Abraham Baldwin Ag College campus in Tifton Ga
