Field Notes

Description:

A species of longhorn beetle with a distinctive appearance. 12-15 mm long. It has 2 black bands across and several yellow or black spots. The pronotum is with a spine on each side. The antennae are twice shorter than the body.

Habitat:

Spotted in a coniferous forest in eastern Washington State.
