Hey Daniele! Just bought a book about wildlife in my region of France and it turns out this is a broad-bodied darter and not an orthetrum after all. My book says that they're easily mistaken for one another. It helps now that I have downloaded more than one pic from that spotting. Actually my second pic looks almost exactly like the one in my book, it's uncanny!! :) I have therefore updated my spotting sheet. x
