This was running around the ground near a bush of flowers.The placement of his legs suggests a crab spider.

This is a crab spider. Maybe Xysticus sp.?
Jellis,you probably are right ,There is one sp of wolf spider that has robust legs like this.Will get Bug guides feedback too.
the dark and light pattern on the head matches the Wolf
Thanks for the feedback,Jellis.This was a tiny spider.Initially I assumed that it was a jumper.The eye arrangement does not fit for that.I do have more pics.Very similar though.Can upload.
Do you have more photos. For some reason it looks like a spider is clinging to the abdomen
